I'm home

I walked up to our old house that could barely be called a house, but it was what we could afford. The sound of the city was still here, some stores just closing up with their graphiti covered walls and cracked windows. This was all I'd ever known my whole life. I walked up the steps, looking up at the sky where the stars had now vanished because of the city lights. But the moon glowed brightly in the sky as if a reminder I wasn't alone.
